  • Carla Lugones, Social Media Manager

    Carla Lugones is a dynamic social media strategist and content creator with a passion for storytelling that captivates, engages, and drives results. With over three years of experience in social media management and digital marketing, she specializes in crafting compelling narratives that bring brands to life across multiple platforms.

    As a creative force behind high-impact campaigns, Carla has worked with renowned brands such as Fume by QR Joy, RNBW, Insomniac, FitTea, and Lucyd Smart Eyewear. Her expertise lies in developing innovative content strategies, producing eye-catching visuals, and optimizing engagement to build strong online communities. She thrives on blending data-driven insights with artistic vision, ensuring every post, reel, and campaign not only performs but also resonates on a deeper level.

    Carla’s approach goes beyond just managing social media—she curates digital experiences that connect brands with their audiences authentically. Whether it’s crafting viral-worthy content, leading influencer collaborations, or staying ahead of trends, she is dedicated to amplifying brand presence in a way that feels fresh, relevant, and impactful.

  • Elizabeth Castleberry, Senior Graphic Designer

    Elizabeth Castleberry is a graphic designer and art director with over 15 years of experience creating thoughtful, impactful brands. With a deep curiosity for design and art, she specializes in crafting cohesive visual systems that connect creativity with strategy.

    Elizabeth has worked across industries, such as automotive, beauty, and real estate, on both agency and in-house teams. As the founder of E.C. Creative, she now partners with a diverse range of clients nationwide. Her approach is hands-on and detail-driven, following each idea from concept to final execution.

    A graduate of Penn State University (B.A. in Integrative Arts) and Philadelphia University (B.S. in Graphic Design Communication), Elizabeth is based in Charleston, SC, and continues to collaborate with brands of all sizes across the country.

  • Tiff Soga, Senior Substack Lead

    Tiff Soga is an editorial leader with a decade of experience shaping content strategy and inclusive storytelling across both print and digital. An alum of Boston University, Tiff holds a Master's Degree in English literature from the University of Bristol and has conducted postgraduate research in literature, war trauma studies, and behavioural psychology at King's College London. 

    A former-academic-turned-editor, Tiff Soga is on a lifelong mission to uplift her communities by carving out spaces for and shedding light on their stories one draft and/or Google Doc at a time. She loves consuming all types of content, especially anything within the Fantasy, Sci-Fi, or Strange Fiction spaces. When she’s not strapped to her computer for her 9-5 gig, Tiff can often be found staring off into space, world-building fictional landscapes in her overly-imaginative head while putzing about (read: bumping into everything around) the house.

  • Nyala White, Social Media Operations Manager

    Nyala White is the Social Media Operations Manager at Sara McCord Communications. In her role, she helps ensure that each client’s social media presence runs with clarity, organization, and purpose. Nyala brings together strategy and creativity to support campaigns that are both efficient behind the scenes and meaningful in how they show up online.

    Before joining Sara McCord Communications, Nyala built her foundation in marketing and storytelling through roles at Microsoft and Universal McCann. At Microsoft, she supported creative strategy for campaigns that blended technology, culture, and community. At Universal McCann, she gained hands-on experience in media planning and brand storytelling for national clients.

    An Atlanta native and proud Howard University graduate, Nyala is passionate about helping ideas move with intention and ensuring that every system and story she touches reflects care, creativity, and purpose.

  • Lane Peterson, Executive Assistant

    Lane is a Brooklyn-based assistant who has been in the business of supporting founders and CEOs for nearly a decade. Whether at a co-working start-up, financial asset lending firm,  boutique fitness company, or family office, Lane excels at supporting people who are hoping to grow. She is thrilled to be at Sara McCord Communications to do just that.

  • Ashley Purser, Graphic Designer

    Ashley has been designing for more than 10 years in corporate, agency, and non-profit spaces with a particular love for brand architecture. She lives in Alexandria, VA, with her boyfriend & dog, Bodie. When not working, she can be found looking for vintage IKEA lighting on eBay or constantly rethinking the design of her home.

  • Julie Lucarelli, Art Director

     Julie Lucarelli is a creative consultant and art director. She specializes in branding and has worked extensively in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, retail and wellness industries including work for global brands and companies like Coty, Cay Skin, Sam Edelman, DevaCurl, Kindbody and Godiva Chocolatier. She has worked on brand launches, fashion editorial campaigns, experiential design and has a deep understanding of production across all touch points.
